Friday Evening Entertainment at the Dojo

This will be my final post before going to Japan tomorrow.  The goal of this post is to share some smiles, to nail the art of adding video to a blog post and to practice adding photos to a blog post.

To begin this post I would like to introduce you to our son, Steven. Steven is 5 years old and has just started school this year.  It would seem that he is quietly inspired by his big sister’s violin playing that he took it upon himself to make his very own violin and bow.  If you look closely you’ll see a well crafted paper violin and bow which he is using to entertain myself and others at the dojo.  We should have pulled out Sami’s violin case to get a few coins for his busking efforts.

Now, I was pretty happy enjoying the moment at this stage and then our little Sami thought she’d get in on the act.  Sami pulled out her violin and sat behind me and started trying to play in sync with Steven.
