Congratulation to Senpai Sam Hunt, successfully grading to Nidan yesterday.
At the end of a long day of brown & black belt training on the Gold Coast, Senpai Sam stayed behind to do his Nidan grading test. This photo was taken a few hours into the 5 hour senior training session yesterday. Sandra Shihan thought it would be a good idea to include a bit of spirit challenge for Senpai Sam to enjoy, 100 jumping kicks.
After the 5 hours of the training, the grading test began. Senpai Sam demonstrated kata, henshuho and also 100 pushups, situps & squat kicks.
He was clearly already exhausted from a big day of training before his grading even started, but he took it in his stride to demonstrate a good example of what it means to be a nidan.
Senpai Sam always trains with a great attitude to bring out both his best and challenges those around him to do the same.
Congratulations Sempai Sam!
