Years of training, countless lessons, setbacks, and breakthroughs—this is what it takes to earn a black belt. And this past week, we had the incredible honour of presenting Abi, Raiyan, and Steven with their official black belts and certificates from Japan!
But this journey is about more than just karate. It’s about perseverance, commitment, and personal growth. Abi, Raiyan, and Steven all started as white belts, just like every student who walks through our doors. Now, as black belts, they are young adults heading into their final year of high school.
We haven’t just had the privilege of teaching them karate—we’ve had the joy of watching them grow, overcome challenges, and step into their potential. Their journey is proof that with dedication, anything is possible.
