There is always time for a smile in the dojo. Here are a couple of moments I was able to capture this week.
At Sunshine Coast Karate, we are very fortunate to have some amazing teachers and leaders inspiring all of us at the dojo. Thank you to Sensei Martin, Sensei Helen, Senpai Jack, Senpai Keanu and Senpai Renae, who have all been amazing on the floor with our Karate Kids.
Young Rhiannon following in the footsteps of her big sister, Renae. In one week, Rhiannon received our Subway Sports Award and graded to Yellow belt. Congratulations Rhiannon. Keep up the great work!!
Telstra Stores Maroochydore, Sunshine Plaza and Noosa have presented Sunshine Coast Karate and two other local community groups with the opportunity to take part in their “Telstra’s Connected Community” initiative. Throughout the period from Monday 7th May – Sunday 3rd June, members of the local community will be given the chance to go in-store and
Congratulations to all students who challenged for new grades over the weekend. From what I hear, you all stepped it up a notch and demonstrated some big improvements with your technique. Well done everyone!! All belts and certificates will be presented in class throughout the week. The next grading is scheduled for Saturday 30th June.
