After an amazing trip to the International Chito-Ryu Karate-Do Headquarters, I have arrived home safely to my family. It’s been a couple of days and I’m feeling very loved and in high demand. I haven’t as yet had a chance to review/reflect my study notes as every spare moment I’ve had has been dedicated to family time. I did start to share a few ideas with Martin, but the kids were quick to jump in and steal my attention. Looks as though I’ll be up early in the morning to start my review and continue my training whilst the kids sleep.
It was time to get back to the dojo tonight but I was a little concerned with my state of my mind. Not only did I lose my keys I also lost my phone today. We won’t go into the other hiccups today, but let’s just say it was a great day to laugh at myself and I’m thinking a good night sleep might be the way to go tonight.
As it turned out, my time at the dojo was great. I loved being back in the dojo with the Little Champions and Karate Kids. Below are a couple of happy snaps of the kids after class. I can’t wait to catch up with more of our Sunshine Coast Karate students and families over the next few weeks, and I can’t wait to pull all of my notes together, study/explore them more and share with others.
A quote for today: “The best kinds of people are the ones that come into your life, and make you see the sun when you once saw clouds. The people that believe in you so much, that you start to believe in you too. The people that love you, simply for being you. The once in a lifetime kind of people.” ~ Unknown
