A big thank to all competitors, officials, volunteers and supporters for making our Autumn Tournament a great day of competition. There was a very high standard of competition across all of the division, from our most junior to our most senior competitors.
A special thank you to Michael Noonan Kyoshi and your team making the trip up from The Karate Institute Peakhurst (Sydney) & Adam Higgins Shihan and your team from Gold Coast Chito-Ryu Karate, plus of course all of our local competitors.
Based on the high standard of competition today, I think this year’s Australian Team competing at the Soke Cup in Japan this August will one of the strongest ever!!!

Keep working hard everyone, we have one more tournament in June before our Australian Team heads to Japan in August. And for our more junior members who didn’t compete this time, don’t miss out next time. Who knows, it might be you on the Australian team in the future. It all starts by having the courage to step up and put your skills to the test.
